Organization History

The Isabella Nasya Foundation was established in 2024 by Amanda Adkins, her passion and activism for those without a voice is compelling. The foundation is a haven for those seeking resources for domestic violence and sexual violence situations. Amanda takes a no-nonsense approach to making her voice heard and the voice of those she advocates for heard.

"You've read stories about how women (and some men) have bravely left their abuser to face the world and take on its challenges without any fear. Unfortunately, that's a fairytale. Sadly, the fact is, many victims of domestic violence are lucky to get away from their abuser with their lives and the lives of their children. Those that do manage to flee have more than physical trauma.

When a person is starting over after fleeing a domestic violence situation, we can feel helpless. We can feel lost. We sometimes feel guilty and ashamed.  Almost of all of us feel alone. We've most likely been isolated from our families,  friends and the rest of the world. We've likely not been allowed to hold a job in years, so we don't have any employment or credit history. This leaves us financially crippled. " -
